PROJECT UNITY HONORS COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Project Unity, an organization that seeks to help families help themselves, honored its community partners at a luncheon in the Bill Erwin Room.
Approximately $400,000 in local monies and other forms of support provided by these community partners enables Project Unity to bring in more than $500,000 in state and federal dollars to this area. This support allows the agency to positively impact more than 3,000 families (over 8,000 people) throughout the Brazos Valley each year.
“Community support is vital to our efforts to help families become self-sufficient,” states Jeannie McGuire, President of Project Unity. “These partners have generously donated their time, expertise, and/or financial resources to help improve the quality of life for families and children in Bryan/College Station and the rural communities.”
