Founder and President
Serves as President of non- profit corporation designed to help low income families achieve self-sufficiency.
Has full responsibility for implementing Project Unity programs, including all data reporting, as well as fiscal and program oversight. Other responsibilities include program development and management (including board development), compliance monitoring, supervision of staff/projects, project evaluation, and grant and proposal writing.
PROJECT UNITY PROGRAMS:
- Texas Families Together and Safe Child Abuse Prevention Case Management Program (serving 7 counties through rural Health Resource Centers)
- AIDS Services of the Brazos Valley Case Management Program (7 counties)
- Safe Harbour Supervised Visitation Program-Child Abuse Prevention Program
- For Kids Sake Divorce Education Program
- Medical Case Management Program at Bryan/College Station Community Health Center (Federal Qualified Community Health Center)
- Home for Community of Promise Activities (Ensuring 5 Promises for Youth) with a 15 member Community of Promise Board
- Community Partnership Board Activities (Over 80 partners focused on Collaboration)
- Poverty Simulation (designed to help people understand the realities of poverty)
INNOVATIVE PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
* Created and implemented a web-based case management system designed to assist local, state and federal agency service providers in coordinating the complex bureaucratic services available to clients in need.

STATE/NATIONAL INVOLVEMENT
*Appointed by Governor Rick Perry to be the Presiding Officer of the
Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners. (2003-2008)
*Appointed Regional Coordinator for Texans Care for Children’s Texas
Finish Line Campaign-A joint partnership with Texans Care for Children,
the Children’s Defense Fund and Center for Public Policy Priorities to ensure
that every Texas Child has access to health insurance. Grant funding is provided

Partnerships At Work: Lessons Learned From Programs and
Practices of Families, Professionals and Communities,
funded through Title V, Social Security Act Maternal and Child
